Manager of Public Involvement & Program Services (Open to Employees of the Federal Public Service occupying a position in the National Capital Region)

Education:
Bachelor degree from a recognized university.

Experience:
Experience planning and managing public involvement activities;
Experience in providing advice to senior management;
Experience in leading multi-disciplinary work groups.

Knowledge:
Knowledge of strategies, principles and methods for effective public involvement in policy development and decision-making;
Knowledge of key issues in the area of health products and food.

Abilities and Skills:
Ability to communicate in writing and orally;
Ability to work effectively under pressure and with tight deadlines
Ability to develop consensus.
Ability to supervise staff.
